Excel Option - Maximum Iterations
In Excel, the “Maximum Iterations” option controls how many times Excel will recalculate a formula that contains circular references. Circular references occur when a formula refers back to its own cell, either directly or indirectly.
How to Set
- Open File tab
- Click on Options
- Select the Formulas category
- Under Calculation options, check the box for “Enable iterative calculation”
- Set the “Maximum Iterations” value to your desired number
- Click OK to save the changes
