This means that credentials are invalid and probably need to be refreshed. Below is the fix that worked for me:

1. Delete all contents from the below folder

   C:\Users\ethan\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.AAD.BrokerPlugin_cw5n1h2txyewy
   

2. Restart your computer.
