Reasons:
- The old vault “personal” became too messy. So many hanging notes, no way to sort them, and all the extensions made the load time too long. It made me stop taking notes.
- Now that I’m in Ivey, I’ve been seeing all these small facts that I really want to save. I need a system that let’s me save these short facts so that I can easily find them later.
Goals for Grapes:
- To stay minimal and lean. As this grows, I’ve ensured to disable all core and community extensions I don’t use and don’t need. This should reduce load times and visual clutter.
- I want to stick to some central note system. While most of my notes will likely stay on paper, I want grapes to be where I put those key facts I want to store for the long-term.
Motivation behind the name “grapes”:
- My raspberry pi is called “blueberry”, and while I was thinking of names, I was eating green grapes.
