Vector Span

The vector span is a Function that takes a Set of Vectors and returns the set of all vectors that can be formed from Linear Combinations of those vectors.

Note: the Zero Vector is always in the span of any set

Properties

$\mathrm{span}(S)$ is a $k$-dimensional subspace where $k$ is the largest number of linearly independent vectors in $S$.
