Bloom’s Taxonomy

This was introduced in Session 25 - LPO Review where we talk about how to apply what we’ve learned in class.

Really, it wants to say that, while an assignment will ask us to analyze, evaluate, and create a solution, we should begin with remembering and understanding and work our way up.

Purpose

The purpose of Bloom’s Taxonomy is to provide a hierarchical framework for categorizing educational objectives and learning outcomes. It helps educators design curriculum, assessments, and instructional strategies that promote higher-order thinking skills.
