Team Processes are not Behaviors

Example of team processes:

  • Having weekly meetings
  • How do you track attendances

Behaviors are like:

  • Do people come to meetings prepared?
  • Do people come to the meetings
  • Cohesion
  • Hard to get down to get the work done

Emergent State is like:

  • You thought you’d trust everyone at the beginning, but then you lost trust as time went on.

Outcomes is like:

  • The goals and what everyone wants to achieve

Performance Model

The inputs on the right refer to types of performance.

  • Task perform: are you completing the tasks well

  • Counterproductive: are you being counterproductive to your peers and team

  • Citizenship: Do you exhibit citizenship behaviors?

  • Example, when dealing with promotion, you want to also draw attention to the requirements and roel and responsiblities of the new role and if their current capability, motivation and what not fit that.
